Winter Moo News

Brrr it's been a chilly start to the winter season down here in the South East. The heater has been cranked in the office almost every day.

It has remained busy here at Crane Livestock. Our new cattle crates, which joined the fleet in May, have been put to work and have hardly been back home!

The company purchased a new 2020 Kenworth T909 to add to the fleet. Our driver JB was the lucky recipient of the new truck and has enjoyed it so far. The new truck has been named 'Margaret Joy' after Rusty's Mum. We now have a total of seven Kenworth T909 prime movers in the fleet.

Crane Livestock has also purchased a Kenworth K100 cab over and a two deck convertible crate from Greg Sinclair to enable us to complete the "smaller jobs". No job is too big or too small for us now.

Two new members have also joined our team. Jake has joined us as a full time sheep and cattle driver. Jake has recently travelled over to Western Australia for us to bring back a load of sheep. It was a great experience for him as he had never done that trip before. We have also welcomed Josh to the team as our floater driver. Josh is new to the livestock transport industry and has so far been a great member of the team. He has been mainly carting cattle for us but will be doing some sheep jobs too.

All of our trucks are continuing to operate in South Australia and interstate despite the current situation. Our drivers are provided with the appropriate safety measures, PPE and have been continuing to social distance where possible.

We hope you all continue to stay safe and enjoy some family time during the school holidays.
